This Sponge-Type Rainwater Flower Box is designed with delayed regulation and purification functions, typically installed beneath building downspouts, elevated bridge drainage points, or municipal road medians.

It effectively reduces pollutants in stormwater runoff, stores treated rainwater internally for reuse, and mitigates urban runoff pollution while serving as a green landscape feature. By employing source-level dispersion and slow-release drainage, it reduces operational loads and maintenance requirements for downstream Sponge City infrastructure and drainage networks.

Ideal for retrofitting projects in aging residential areas, schools, hospitals, or sites with limited space for excavation. By disconnecting building downspouts, the system redirects rooftop runoff away from municipal stormwater networks, ensuring compliance with stormwater-sewage separation requirements. Roof runoff is channeled into the planter box for purification, retention, and peak flow reduction, enabling sustainable rainwater resource utilization.

The flower box is constructed from aluminum alloy,stainless steel, or plastic materials, offering superior durability and aesthetic appeal compared to conventional treated wood or concrete alternatives.

Equipped with a replaceable filter cartridge and specially formulated filter media, the system effectively removes contaminants from stormwa- ter runoff. Purified water is directed to the planting zone, promoting healthy vegeta-tion growth.

During heavy rainfall, excess water flows through an overflow pipe into the built-in storage compartment once the soil reaches saturation. Continued rainfall triggers controlled dispersal via the bottom drainage system.

No road excavation required: Compact footprint and prefabricated structure enable easy installation.
