1. Before construction, the excavation dimensions of the foundation pit should exceed the design standards. The base must be manually leveled and compacted to avoid disturbance. The levelness tolerance should be controlled within 5%. The foundation pit should be concreted to establish a solid base for subsequent construction.
2. The installation of the impermeable membrane and modules is critical. It is essential to follow the "geotextile-geomembrane-geotextile" structure, also known as the two-cloth-one-membrane method, to ensure complete isolation between the water storage area and the foundation, eliminating any risk of leakage.
3. Plastic rainwater storage tank installation, the inspection well openings must be accurately positioned. Use a wooden or rubber mallet to gently tap and join the modules, ensuring staggered seams between upper and lower layers. The number of connectors must meet the required standards. Additionally, ensure that the backwashing pipes are evenly distributed and securely fixed.
4. Backfilling should not be overlooked. The exterior of the modules should be wrapped with polystyrene boards for protection, covered with geotextile, and firmly bonded. Backfilling must be carried out symmetrically and in layers around the perimeter. Heavy machinery must not be used for compaction within the top 50 cm of the fill.
