Rainwater Harvesting Module: System Composition and Industry Application Analysis
As the core component of rainwater harvesting and utilization systems, the rainwater harvesting module is rarely used alone. It must work in coordination with various auxiliary components to form a complete underground storage tank, and is widely applied in water resource recycling across diverse scenarios, supporting green and low-carbon development.
The system composition combines practicality and stability. The core component is a modular plastic module tank body, assembled using dedicated connecting pins to ensure overall structural robustness. For impermeability and filtration, the system utilizes impermeable or permeable geotextile wrapping, along with a sediment basket filter and a rainwater diversion device, effectively filtering impurities and preventing leakage. The control and discharge system integrates inlet pipes, outlet pipes, water pumps, inspection manholes, and an intelligent rainwater control system, enabling smart management of rainwater collection, storage, and discharge.
The application scenarios are extensive, covering large residential complexes, industrial parks, urban plazas, municipal landscaping, commercial complexes, schools, and other areas. The collected rainwater, after treatment, can be used for green space irrigation, road flushing, toilet flushing, landscape water replenishment, and fire reserve water, achieving efficient water resource utilization. Technically, the modules are divided into three types: PP standard type (suitable for green areas), PP reinforced type (suitable for rooftop walkways), and PP heavy-duty type (suitable for roadways and driveways), allowing flexible selection based on different scenarios.
